Yar… I noticed one of those the other day. Forgot to mention it. Now I’m doubly ashamed that the cursed springtime rains (and, admittedly, a few other things, including a bit of laziness) have kept me from applying compost to those guys.

For those of you interested in asparagus… there are now 9 spears above ground. A few are even more vigorous than those pictures here, some real “stubbies.†I’ll stop being coy, you really can’t ignore the phallic nature of these things. Heh!
